Privacy Policy

This policy explains what TECH4SSD collects, why it is used, who helps process it, and the choices available to you.
What I collect
- Your email address, if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter.
- For a TECH4SSD account: your Supabase user ID, verified email address, consent choice and time, account source, Beehiiv sync status, and sign-in timestamps. Passwords are hashed and handled by Supabase Auth; the TECH4SSD application database never receives or stores them.
- The details you type into the collaboration form: your name, email, budget, format, and message.
- Usage data such as link clicks and rough traffic totals, used to understand what is useful.
- A random visitor identifier stored in a first-party cookie for 180 days, so I can tell whether people come back to a guide on a later day rather than counting the same reader as a stranger each time. It is a random value, it is not linked to your name, email, or account, and no third party receives it. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, this identifier is never created and your visits are counted anonymously.
- Standard technical data your browser sends to any website (IP address, device and browser type), used for security and to keep the site running. Abuse-control identifiers are stored as one-way hashes.
- Images you intentionally choose with the Promira extension are processed temporarily to create a visual analysis and are not saved by the TECH4SSD server.
- Promira keeps server-side credit usage, referral qualification progress, a pseudonymous installation identifier, and revocable iPhone session records. Refresh credentials are stored as keyed hashes rather than readable tokens.
How I use it
- To send the AI tutorials, product updates, and occasional relevant offers you signed up for.
- To reply to collaboration or contact requests you send me.
- To understand which tools and links are worth covering.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To create and secure your TECH4SSD account, connect Promira, and preserve your eligibility for future Promira services after their data use is explained.
- To turn a visual reference you choose into structured prompts in the languages and formats you request.
I do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
Tools I rely on
A few trusted services help run this site. They only receive what they need to do their job:
- Beehiiv delivers the newsletter and stores subscriber emails.
- Supabase Auth creates account sessions, sends email verification and recovery messages, verifies email addresses, and securely hashes and handles passwords.
- The site database stores subscriber consent and synchronization status, the link list, click counts, prompt records, and collaboration inquiries.
- Vercel hosts the website and may process standard request logs needed for delivery and security.
- OpenRouter routes Promira image-analysis requests to the configured AI model. Uploaded images are sent to that provider only when you choose Analyze.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks newsletter, collaboration, and admin login forms for automated abuse and may set a necessary security cookie.
- YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok content is embedded from those platforms, which may set their own cookies when their embeds load.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the footer of every email.
- You can ask to access, correct, or delete your TECH4SSD account and information by emailing me. Account deletion and newsletter unsubscription are separate choices.
- You can browse the public site without creating an account.
- You can allow or decline the analytics cookie when you first visit, and change that decision at any time in the Cookies section below. Declining deletes the identifier already stored on your device.
- Promira extension history stays in your browser and can be cleared from extension settings. A custom OpenRouter key is stored locally by the extension and is sent directly to OpenRouter, not TECH4SSD.
- An iPhone Shortcut stores its rotating Promira device session in your private iCloud Drive Shortcuts folder. You can revoke iPhone sessions from your TECH4SSD account; an active session expires after 180 days without use.
Cookies
The site uses local browser storage to remember saved prompts and Supabase account sessions. One optional first-party analytics cookie, t4_vid, holds a random visitor identifier for 180 days so returning readers are recognisable as returning. It is only set if you allow it on the banner: until you choose, and if you decline, it is never created, and declining later deletes the one you have. It is HttpOnly, so no script on the page can read it, and it never leaves this site. It is also never set if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, whatever the banner says. A second cookie, t4_consent, remembers that choice for 180 days and holds nothing but the word “granted” or “denied”. Clearing your cookies removes both, and you will be asked again. A signed, HttpOnly first-party capability cookie connects an authenticated account to Promira; it does not contain your email address. The extension stores its signed access capability, optional custom OpenRouter key, settings, and up to 30 recent analyses in local extension storage. Embedded services may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
How long information is kept
Account and newsletter records remain in the TECH4SSD database and with the relevant provider until you unsubscribe, delete the account, or request deletion as applicable. Inquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable business records. Aggregate click totals may be kept without being tied to your identity.
Security and transfers
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the site and limit access to its systems. No internet service can promise perfect security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own under their own privacy terms.
